Tango Royal and Group of Turnstones by Jean Lemonnier.

Born in Paris in 1966, Jean-François Gambino is a renowned sculptor known for his bold and dynamic animal bronzes. His spontaneous technique captures the raw energy and spirit of the wild, with subtle matte patinas and clean, striking lines. Winner of the 2020 David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation competition in London with Paradise Lost, he is now one of France’s most sought-after animal sculptors, admired for the authenticity and power of his creations.

Jean Lemonnier (born on September 2, 1950, in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer) is a French painter and sculptor based in Brittany. Specializing in figurative animal themes, he works in bronze as well as carving granite, onyx, and schist directly. Without using sketches or models, he dives straight into the material, paying homage to a wild world under threat. His award-winning work is featured in public and private collections alike. Named an official Painter of the Navy in 2005, he is celebrated for his vivid and expressive style.
