Philippe HEIM
Philippe Heim has had a passion for art and travel ever since he was a child.
Born in 1961, after studying law he specialised in the appraisal and promotion of travelling artists (painters, sculptors and photographers from 1870 to the present day).
In 1993, he opened his first gallery in Paris, where he organised annual exhibitions on the theme of travel for 13 years. A recognised dealer and expert, he is also a leading figure in the art world. For the past 20 years, he has taken part in various fairs, including the Paris Biennale, TEFAF in Maastricht, the Salon du Dessin and PAD in Paris, as well as BRAFA in Brussels.
In September 2015, he created the first animal art fair in Brussels, called “Septembre Animalier Bruxelles”, also known as “SAB Expo”, where he exhibits recognised international artists every year.
A member of the Chambre Royale des Antiquaires de Belgique, he opened his new Brussels gallery in 2020 in the famous Sablon district. Throughout the year, he will be exhibiting a selection of contemporary animal artists as well as his personal collections.
