Antique dealer and repair workshop, specialising in tableware, silverware, crystal and antique lighting.

Based in Haguenau, France, since April 1998, Le Savoir de Marie is an antique silverware repair workshop specialising in re-silvering, gilding, tinning, chroming, soldering, dent removal, levelling, polishing, resealing, knife restoration and more.

A keen antiques enthusiast, Eric Novazio wasted no time in promoting the workshop’s services and its Lign’Argent product for easily cleaning silverware, and began selling a selection of restored antiques at various antiques fairs, antique shows, ‘top-of-the-range’ brocantes and art events in France and abroad.

Le Savoir de Marie has been exhibiting at Luxexpo’s Antiques & Art Fair Luxembourg since January 2008 (with the exception of the 2024 edition), as well as at virtually all the major antiques fairs since March 2005. His loyal presence in the Grand Duchy earned him an article entitled ‘Le b.a.-ba de l’argenterie’ (‘The ABCs of silver’), which appeared in the Luxembourg newspaper Le Quotidien on 3 February 2014.

Over the years, the objects and periods on offer have evolved with the Antiquaire’s profession: from the 18th to the 20th century, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Vintage or Design, the pieces are chosen for their quality and rarity but also because they are beautiful objects.

– Professional cleaning products for silver, silver-plated metal, gold and vermeil intended for contact with foodstuffs.
